* Formula contains:

-Chicken Collagen Type II that contains:
* 25% Depolymerized (lower molecular weight) chondroitin sulfates, which gives enhanced bioavailability and helps to maintain
structural integrity and elasticity of many types of body tissues including the walls of blood vessels, skin, arteries, heart, brain and other vascular beds.
*Cartilage Matrix Glycoproteins (CMGP) support the production of Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) an antioxidant enzyme that protects against the damaging free radicals generated by abnormal trauma and immune cell involvement.

-Glucosamine HCl which is necessary for creating Glycosaminoglycans (Chondroitin Sulfates and Hyaluronic Acid) and makes up 50% of Hyaluronic Acid the principal GAG component of synovial fl uid that support fl exibility integrity.

-MSM which helps to support comfort and contributes to the production of collagen to support joint structure/function.

-Vitamin C which is required for the synthesis of collagen and acts as an antioxidant to protect collagen from free radicals.

-Manganese, which is essential for the formation of collagen, and GAGs that support cartilage integrity.

-Boswellic Acid (from Boswellia serrata), which helps to increase comfort, helps to regulate the immune response, help support structural integrity and function of joints, helps provides antioxidant support, and support the regulation of destructive mediators such as:
proinfl ammatory prostaglandins, enzymes, and free radicals.

-Curcumin (from Curcumin longa), which works synergistically with Boswellic Acid to support comfort, help regulate destructive mediators, and support liver function and detoxification.

Directions For Use:

Initial: (4-6 weeks)

Up to 15 lbs body weight (up to 7 kg): 1/2 tablet Jointagen daily.

16-30 lbs body weight (7-13,5 kg): 1 tablet Jointagen daily.

31-60 lbs body weight (14-27 kg): 2 tablets Jointagen daily.

61-100 lbs body weight (27-45 kg): 3 tablets Jointagen daily.

101 lbs body weight and over (45 kg and over): 4 tablets Jointagen daily.

Maintenance: (After initial period)

Up to 30 lbs body weight (up to 13,5 kg): 1/2 tablet Jointagen daily.

31-60 lbs body weight (14-27 kg): 1 tablet Jointagen daily.

61-100 lbs body weight (27-45 kg): 2 tablets Jointagen daily.

over 100 lbs body weight (45 kg and over): 3 tablets Jointagen daily.

If giving more than 1 tablet Jointagen daily, divide between AM and PM.

Administer during or after the animal has eaten to reduce the incidence of gastrointestinal upset.

Warnings:

Consult with your veterinarian before using this product in animals: with clotting disorders; being treated with anticoagulant medications; diabetes or any metabolic disorder causing hyperglycemia; history of urinary tract stones; known allergies to shellfish.
